I am a first year PhD student in the Woodward lab. I graduated from Ewha Womans’ University in South Korea majoring in Psychology. I received my M.A. in Education at Harvard where I worked in Elizabeth Spelke’s lab, looking at communicative understanding in infants. I also studied children’s trust in teachers in Paul Harris’s lab. I will focus on investigating children’s social cognition, particularly on the infants’ ability to understand others’ intentions and goals; and how this relates to Theory of Mind later on. I plan to conduct behavioral studies, eye-tracking studies and EEG to explore the link between the brain system and social cognitive development.
