From Lake Shore Drive
Exit at 57th St. (Museum of Science and Industry Exit). Go west and curve around the museum. Take the fourth right onto the Midway Plaisance and continue west to the second stoplight, which is Woodlawn Ave. Turn right onto Woodlawn and then left at the stop sign onto 59th St. At the next block turn right onto University Ave. Our building is located on the left (5848 S. University Ave.) and our parking lot is on the right side of the street. Somebody from the center will be outside to greet you and direct you to a parking spot.
From Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/94)
Take local lanes to Garfield St. Exit (Garfield is also called 55th St.). Follow Garfield through the park and stay to the right, until you see a sign for the Midway Plaisance. Follow the Midway to Woodlawn Ave. and take a left onto Woodlawn. Turn left onto 59th St. and a right onto University Ave. Our building is located on the left (5848 S. University) and our parking lot is on the right side (East side) of the street. Somebody will be outside to greet you.
From Indiana
Take I-65 North or I-80 West to the Skyway (I-90/94 W). Drive westbound on the Skyway, exiting at Stony Island. Drive north on Stony Island and turn left on the Midway Plaisance. Continue to follow the directions above from Lake Shore Dr.
By Bus
The CTA #6 Jackson Park Express bus will take you from downtown Chicago to Hyde Park. Catch the bus southbound on State St. in the Loop. Exit at 59th St., walk under the train tracks, and continue west to the campus and University Ave.
By Metra Train
Take the Metra Electric commuter train at the Randolph, Van Buren, or Roosevelt stations. Get off at 59th St. and walk west to the campus and University Ave.
