Yiyi Wang
Yiyi is a postdoctoral researcher in the Infant Learning and Development Laboratory. She studies social development, especially the emergence of social biases and the development of moral evaluation and empathy. She uses both behavioral and neuroimaging methods (especially EEG). During her postdoc, she aims to reveal the emergence of social biases during infancy and its related factors, shedding light on how to reduce biases.
Yiyi received her B.S. in Psychology from Beijing Normal University and her Ph.D. in Psychology from Peking University. Her dissertation focused on how children’s moral impressions of others influenced their emotional, behavioral, and neural responses towards others. She also investigated the development of sociomoral evaluation during infancy and the social cognitive and emotional correlates of moral behaviors.
